  • Extreme patience with all types of students - I’ve worked in a public high school for 20 years with everyone from the over-achieving perfectionists to the lazy procrastinators. If your student is willing to go through this process, I can help them stay motivated. 

  • Either Zoom or In-Person meetings or a combination, depending on what works best for the student

  • Advice throughout the process for both the student and parents - email, texts, phone calls / answering questions 

  • Being the keeper of deadlines for different forms, colleges, and parts of the process; sending reminders - phone calls, texts, and emails - to keep everyone on schedule 

  • Peace during your student’s last few years at home - I’ll handle the hard conversations for you! :)

Guide on the Side! Coaching Package

  • Seven to ten face-to-face or Zoom sessions (about one per month starting sometime junior year and continuing till mid senior year) open to student and anyone else who wants to help with the process

  • Guidance and resources through all stages of the process - career exploration, college discussions and guidance on making a college list, college essay advice and some editing

Your Trail Buddy!  Coaching Package

  • Eighteen to twenty-two face-to-face or Zoom sessions throughout junior and senior years

  • Career exploration with resources and discussions 

  • Career to college major analysis and links towards real world viability 

  • College exploration

  • Creation of the college list that fits the student’s interests, abilities, academic and social needs 

  • College essay coaching and editing

  • Application advice

Your Pathway Sherpa! Coaching Package

  • Twenty-five to thirty-two sessions throughout any number of years during high school - may start as early as the end of freshmen year / beginning of sophomore year

  • Discussions of high school classes to set up for college success / admission

  • Career exploration with resources and discussions 

  • College exploration; analysis of majors and links towards real world investment

  • Creation of the college list that fits the student’s interests, abilities, academic and social needs 

  • College essay coaching and editing

  • How to present yourself to a college

  • Application advice, interview practice, scholarship guidance
